On December 6, 2018, Chinese Ambassador to Gabon Hu Changchun attended the groundbreaking ceremony of the Artisanal Fisheries Center in Tchibanga City, Nyanga Province. The deputy general secretary of the Gabonese Democratic Party, Kuba, the national secretary of Mandome, and the governor of Ganyanga Province, Lekat, accompanied nearly 300 officials from the province and local fishermen representatives. The fishery center will be a distribution center for the processing and trade of aquatic products in the city and surrounding areas. It will also help improve the production and living conditions of local fishermen.
