Project narrative

On April 20, 2018, Ambassador Hu Changchun went to the Sino-Gabonese Pilot School in Libreville, Gabon, and attended the donation handover ceremony of materials and medical clinic activities. Mr. Oboli, Director of the Office of the Minister of National Education of Gabon, the head of the Hekou School District, the principal of the Sino-Gabonese Pilot School, the dean of the China-Gabon Cooperative Hospital, Liu Jie, the Economic and Commercial Counselor of the Embassy, and school teachers and students attended the ceremony. Ambassador Hu donated computers, TVs, whiteboards, and other teaching equipment and supplies to the school on behalf of the Chinese Embassy. Subsequently, Ambassador Hu announced the start of the free consultation activities of the Gabonian medical team. In addition, during the donation, the 19th Chinese medical team to Gabon (see Record ID#60600) provided free medical consultations to the students.
