Description

On November 15, 2018, the Chinese Consulate General in Lagos donated two blocks of classrooms and other items to St. Patrick’s Catholic Nursery and Primary School. Among those who attended the donation ceremony were Chinese Consul-General in Lagos Chao Xiaoliang, Moshood Mayegun, Lagos Island Government Education Authority Secretary; Dr. Oluremi Shopeyin, Executive Chairman, Lagos State Universal Basic Education Board; and Adetoyese Tijani, Chairman, Lagos Island West Government. The donation was part of the "China-Africa People-to-People Friendship Action" initiative that resulted from the 2012 conference of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation.
