Project narrative

On August 16, 2019, the Chinese government awarded full scholarships to 58 Nigerian students in Abuja. Li Xuda, the Chinese cultural counselor in Nigeria, presented the awards. The recipients were 3 undergraduates, 39 graduates, and 16 doctoral students. The scholarships were sponsored through different programs, such as unilateral grants to developing countries, China-Nigeria bilateral agreements, and multilateral outcomes from the 2018 Forum On China-Africa Cooperation Beijing summit.
