Project narrative

On September 23, 2019, the Agricultural Technical Training seminar - organized by Green Agriculture West Africa Limited (a subsidiary of China Geo-Engineering Corporation (CGC)) and sponsored by the Chinese Embassy in Abuja - commenced. 40 Nigerian government officials were trained on rice breeding, rice seedling production, machinery operation, and pest control. The training seminar ran until September 28, 2019. This was a follow-up training to one that had been held several years prior.
