Project narrative

November 5th through December 4th, 2018, China sponsored the "2018 Eritrean Financial and Financial Management Overseas Training Course." The course was hosted by the Chinese Ministry of Commerce and led by China's Central University of Finance and Economics. It was attended by 35 employees from the Bank of Eritrea, the Housing and Commerce Bank, the Eritrean Investment and Development Bank, and the Commercial Bank of Eritrea. This is the second section of many courses sponsored by China in Eritrea in 2018. In 2018, 69 trainees from Eritrea participated in 38 bilateral training courses from various sectors.
