Project narrative

On November 7, 2012, the Chinese Government and the African Union Commission (AUC) signed an RMB 80 million grant agreement (‘protocol’) to cover the expenses of logistical materials supplied to the African Union’s peacekeeping operations. The agreement was signed at the African Union headquarters in Addis Ababa by Mr Erastus Mwencha, Deputy Chairperson of the AUC and Rear Admiral Guan Youafei for the Chinese side.
