Narrative

Full Description

Project narrative

On 15 May 2002, the Chinese Government signed a protocol agreement dispatching the 12th medical team to the Central African Republic for two years (see Record ID#36232). According to Article X of this agreement, China pledged to provide medicines and equipment worth 400,000 RMB for each year (2002 to 2003 and 2003 to 2004) of the medical team's service. The team consisted of 16 members and it completed its term of service between July 2002 and July 2004, so the equipment was likely handed over in July 2002 and July 2003.
