Project narrative

On June 18, 2019, Ambassador Wan had a cordial exchange with 17 students from Ivory Coast who were going to study in China for the first time on a Chinese government scholarship. He gave them school supplies, encouraged the students to study hard, serve the motherland and people after they finish their studies, and make positive contributions to enhancing the diplomatic relationship between China and Cote d'Ivoire. The exact monetary value of the scholarships is not known.
