Chinese Embassy in Cameroon provides scholarships for students at the University of Yaoundé II in Cameroon

On June 21, 2019, an award ceremony was held for recipients of the 2019 Chinese Ambassador Scholarship. 59 undergraduate students from the University of Yaoundé II were awarded a scholarship for an unspecified amount by Chinese Ambassador to Cameroon, Wang Yingwu. The scholarship was for students who had taken classes in Chinese at the University's Confucius institute and performed well on the Chinese HSK proficiency test. This was the fourth consecutive year the scholarship had been awarded.
