Project narrative

On October 30, 2018, the Deputy Director of the China Henan Provincial Department of Education Diao Yuhua handed over a donation of stationary and books to the Ministry of Elementary and Secondary Education and Literacy for use at Mpila Middle School in Congo. The monetary value of the donation is unknown. The school was built with Chinese funding (see Record ID#31030). Mpila Middle School is financed by the Export-Import Bank of China and constructed by Weihai International. It covers an area of 53,000 square meters and can accommodate 10,000 students. It is the middle school with the most complete facilities and the highest level of modernization. In October 2017, the school welcomed its first batch of students.
