This project was to train farmers from Ngo and officials from the Congolese Ministry of Agriculture on agricultural production and processing techniques. Ngo is a district in the Plateaux Department in the southern part of the Republic of the Congo. Project narrative

From June 16 to July 12, 2018, Congolese farmers from Ngo received training on cassava processing and the cultivation of tropical fruit trees from technicians from the Chinese Academy of Tropical Agricultural Sciences. The training is organized by the Chinese government within the framework of cooperation in the agricultural sector with the Congo, and the training aims to equip farmers with new techniques allowing them to increase and transform their productions. The financial value of the training is unknown.
