On April 18, 2019, the Chinese Embassy in the Congo Republic held a reception for 25 pilots and government officials who had completed an aviation training course in China. According to the China Ministry of Commerce, the Congolese pilots and government officials were sent to China in 2018. The exact start date is unknown.
