Project narrative

On June 1, 2005, the Chinese Government handed over emergency supplies worth 10 million RMB to the Government of Indonesia for tsunami relief in Central Java. Emergency materials consisted of tents and blankets. Chinese government donated this material in response to the earthquake in Central Java, Yogyakarta. A total of 37.5 million yuan of disaster relief materials were provided to Indonesia, Sri Lanka and Thailand, mainly including medicines, food and generators.
