On August 24, 2018, the farewell ceremony was held for the 25 Cabo Verdean students being sent to China to study for undergraduate or postgraduate education with the annual Chinese Government Scholarship. This is the third year the annual scholarship was provided to Cabo Verde. The 2019 recipients of the annual scholarship are recorded in the linked Record ID#87919.
