Full Description

Project narrative

On November 1, 2018, a groundbreaking ceremony was held for the construction of a new warehouse for the Cameroonian Red Cross in Yaoundé. The project was funded by the Chinese Embassy in Cameroon. The warehouse was to be constructed for the storage, management and distribution of humanitarian relief supplies of the Red Cross Society of Cameroon. The building features a storage area, six offices, and a bathroom. According to the Cameroon Tribune, the cost of the warehouse was around 20 million CFA. The building was officially completed and inaugurated on November 21, 2019.
