On March 15, 2019, the Chinese Ambassador to Madagascar attended a handover ceremony for the Chinese Government's donation of medical equipment at the Madagascar Ministry of Public Health. The equipment donated was to assist the 22nd medical team sent to Madagascar in providing free medicines and medical devices to Madagascar.
