Project narrative

On August 23, 2019, the Chinese Embassy in Tanzania, Chinese companies, and the Chinese community in Tanzania donated TZS 8 million shillings to the Government of Tanzania for the victims of the Morogoro oil truck accident. The accident happened on August 10, 2019, in the Morogoro area, where an oil truck overturned and burst into flames, leaving more than 100 people dead and a large number of injured still being treated at the hospital.
