Project narrative

On July 11, 2019, the 29th medical team sent by China arrived at Zanzibar, replacing the 28th medical team (Record ID#88307). The Consulate General in Zanzibar hosted a reception to welcome the team. Since 1963, some 220 million patients in 48 African countries have been treated by Chinese medical personnel as of 2018, according to the National Health Commission.
