On July 6, 2018, Cheng Hong, wife of Chinese Premier Li Keqiang, presented Confucius Institute Scholarships for exchange and study in China, to Mayor of Sofia Yordanka Asenova Fandakova. The monetary value and amount of scholarships presented is unknown.
