Project narrative

On November 3, 2016, Cheena Bhavana, the Institute of Chinese Language and Culture at Visva-Bharat University, signed a three-year memorandum of agreement (MOA) with Shanghai Library. In this MOA, Shanghai Library committed to providing 500 copies of books in the first year, and then another 100 per year after that (a total of 700 books, given the agreement's three-year length). The agreement was intended to shore up collection of Cheena Bhavana's library and enhance library cooperation. The monetary value of this agreement is unknown.
