In 2018, the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office provided funds to renovate the Third Chinese Primary School in Pyongyang. The renovation began in 2018 and was completed by August 30, 2018. The renovation was said to have improve the school's physical conditions and teaching environment port of financial support for a comprehensive renovation. The monetary value of this financial support is unknown. Third Chinese Primary School is located in Sadong-guyok (Sadong District) of Pyongyang and is dedicated to the education of the children of overseas Chinese families. The Chinese Embassy in North Korea donated office supplies to the school on August 30, 2018, as captured by linked Record ID#66106.
