Project narrative

On February 27, 2019, the Chinese Embassy in Bangladesh announced Chinese government scholarships run by the China scholarship council for 52 Bangladeshi students. The Ministry of Education in Bangladesh is responsible for applications and the final interview of the candidates. In April 2019, it is reported that over 110 students were applying for the scholarship.

Staff comments

Project status is left as implementation because the results of selection are unknown. Normally, after the selection process concludes, there will be a reception ceremony hosted in the Embassy to send off the students to China. However, no such information could be found.
