Description

On September 23, 2019, the Chinese Embassy and Huawei Technologies officially inaugurated the China-Pakistan Friendship Classroom in Islamabad, Pakistan. This project involved the establishment of two new computer labs; one in the Mohsin Mohsin Murtaza Shaheed Model School for Boys, and one in an unnamed school. The Chinese Embassy sponsored one lab (see Project ID #88645) and Huawei sponsored the other (see Project ID #90924). The monetary value of this project is unknown. The purpose of this project is to strengthen the digital literacy of students in Pakistan. Huawei Technologies equipped both labs with 31 desktop computers, printer scanners, multimedia projectors, tablets, chairs, and tables.
