On February 25, 2019, the Ambassador of China to Brunei, Yu Hong, donated Chinese textbooks to several Chinese schools in Brunei on behalf of the Chinese Embassy in Brunei, including Chung Lian School School, Chung Hwa School Kiudang, Chung Hwa Labi School, Pai Yuek School, Chung Hwa Tutong School and Chung Ching Middle School.
