Project narrative

On February 14, 2018, the Chinese government announced its intent to provide full scholarships to students from Brunei for the 2018-19 academic year. The Chinese Government Scholarship provides tuition, accommodation, living expenses and comprehensive medical insurance. The applications were due on April 15, 2018, and students will begin to study in September 2018. On August 17, 2018, the Ambassador of China to Brunei H.E Yang Jian presented admission letters from different universities in China to 15 Bruneian students who received the scholarship.
