Description

In 2016, the Chinese Government provided Chinese Government Scholarships to 35 Papua New Guinea students. The send-off reception for the students was held on August 26, 2016. The scholarships cover tuition fees, basic learning materials, accommodation, living allowance, outpatient medical service and comprehensive medical insurance, as well as international airfare for the first trip to China and the return trip after completion of the study. The Chinese Government has been providing scholarships for students from Papua New Guinea to study in Chinese higher education institutions since 2003.
