Project narrative

On December 20, 2020, a welcome ceremony was held for the medical team China sent to Lesotho. This is the 15th batch of medical teams that have been sent to Lesotho. The team consisted of 9 doctors from various medical institutions in Wuhan, China. It had doctors from obstetrics and gynecology, internal medicine, orthopedics, anesthesiology, acupuncture and radiology and other professional departments. The team was organized by the National Health Commission of China and the Hubei provincial government. The team left China on December 15, 2020 arrived in Lesotho on December 17, 2020. It is unclear exactly how long their stay was, but the 16th medical team arrived in Lesotho on March 10, 2022. Three members from the 15th batch continued their service into the 16th batch.
