Project narrative

On June 5, 2018, the Chinese Embassy in Guyana and the University of Guyana sign a memorandum of understanding in which the Chinese Embassy would provide a 4.6 million GYD grant to fund the acquisition of furniture, computers, headsets and other items for the creation of a new language lab. The facility is expected to be functional in September 2018, for the 2018-2019 academic year.
