Project narrative

In October 2018, the Foreign Affairs Office of the People’s Government of Guangdong organized the 2018 Programme for Young Leaders from Pacific Island Countries, advancing pragmatic exchanges and co-operation with Pacific Island Countries in Guangdong and across China. The training will last for 3 weeks and is planned to end on November 2, 2018. The participants of this program are civil servants from Fiji, Vanuatu, Tonga, Cook Islands, Samoa, Niue and Federated States of Micronesia. The objective of this training was to link up greater details of co-operation and strengthen the relationship between Guangdong Province and Pacific Island countries.
