Project narrative

From November 28 to December 18, 2018, fisheries officers from pacific island countries participated a training on aquaculture farming skills and culturing techniques for marine and freshwater species, provided by China's Guangdong province. Officials from Cook Islands, Tonga, Samoa, Fiji, Solomon Islands and Papua New Guinea participated in the training course. The training programme opened at the Guangdong Provincial Vocational School of Oceanographic Engineering. The trainees toured several aquaculture and fish processing plants during the course.
