According to a report from the Chinese Embassy in Guyana, on February 12, 2019, the Chinese ambassador to Guyana donated costumes, dance props, and Chinese language instruction materials to the Chinese Association of Guyana. The donated goods were provided by the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of the State Council.
