Description

On August 7, 2019, ICBC, Agricultural Bank of China, and Industrial Bank of Korea (IBK) issued a $120 million syndicated loan to Ameris Capital AGF to finance its acquisition of a 37% equity stake in Sociedad GNL Mejillones (liquified natural gas) regasification terminal in Chile’s Antofogasta region—through a consortium led by InfraPartners Management LLP (IMP) Korea. The loan carries a 4-year maturity and an unknown interest rate. Ameris Capital AGF successfully purchased a 37% equity stake in the Mejillones LNG for a total of $193.5 million from the Chilean state-owned mining company Codelco on August 6, 2019.
