Narrative

Full Description

Project narrative

According to the Chinese Embassy in Suriname, on October 17, 2019, China donated a batch of small-value goods to help relevant government departments in Suriname improve their office conditions. The aid included air conditioners, printers, and computers. This was the implementation of an agreement reached between Shao Hong, Vice Chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and President Bouterse of Suriname in April 2019. The handover ceremony was held at the Suriname Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the handover certificate was signed by Chinese Ambassador Liu Quan and Permanent Secretary of the Suriname Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Troudman.
