Description

In October 2019, the Chinese government opened the call to apply for scholarships to attend a set of trainings in Beijing aimed at young Latin American officials. The three training sessions on governance and public administration were as follows: "Seminar on the Development of Governance Capacities for Young Latin American Officials" (November 6 to 26), "Seminar on Public Administration Management in Latin America -Phase II" (November 12 to December 2), and "Public Management Seminar for Argentina" (November 12 to December 1). The trainings were to be conducted in Spanish. The applicants were to be officials and members of the provincial public administration, with experience in their discipline, and under 50 years of age. The scholarship covers international round-trip airfare to and from Ezeiza airport, internal transfers related to the seminar, accommodation, food, daily stipend for minor expenses, emergency medical care in a Chinese public hospital.
