Project narrative

According to a report from the Chinese Ministry of Commerce, in 2019, more than 10 Jamaican immigration officials were sent to China for human resources training. On October 29th, 2019, Chinese officials presided over a farewell meeting hosted for the trainees in Jamaica before they departed. The Seminar on Capacity Development for Exit-Entry Law Enforcement Officers from Jamaica is funded by Chinese Ministries of Commerce and Public Security. The program is implemented by Criminal Investigation Police University of China. It started on November 6, 2019 and ended on November 15, 2019.
