Project narrative

On January 8, 2021, the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs provided 38 pulmonary ventilators to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Cuba. This donation was made to support Cuba’s COVID-19 response efforts. The monetary value of this donation is unknown. A handover ceremony was held for this donation in Havana, the capital of Cuba. China’s Ambassador to Cuba, Chen Xi, attended the ceremony and delivered a speech.
