China donates medical equipment for Phase I of "Love on Wheels Project" (linked to Umbrella Project ID #89911)

According to a report from the Chinese Embassy in Panama, on March 25, 2019, China donated medical equipment to Panama's Ministry of Health towards the first phase of the "Love on Wheels Love Mobile Clinic Project". The first phase of equipment included 6 anesthesia machines, 42 ECG monitors, and 3 central monitoring systems. The equipment will be distributed by the Ministry of Health of Panama in public hospitals including The Children's Hospital and St. Thomas Hospital. The entirety of the project has been implemented in two phases with an approximate cost of $6.6 million (captured in Umbrella Project ID#89911). Phase Two of the project included the donation of 3 medical vehicles which is detailed in Project ID #71340.

1. The Spanish project title is Unidades Móviles para el Proyecto Amor sobre Ruedas que desarrolla el Despacho de la Primera Dama. 2. Due to it being unclear what portion of the funding went to each phase, the total amount is captured in the Umbrella Project ID#89911.
