Project narrative

According to a report from the Chinese Embassy in Panama, on March 25, 2019, China donated medical equipment to Panama's Ministry of Health towards the first phase of the "Love on Wheels Love Mobile Clinic Project". The first phase of equipment included 6 anesthesia machines, 42 ECG monitors, and 3 central monitoring systems. The equipment will be distributed by the Ministry of Health of Panama in public hospitals including The Children's Hospital and St. Thomas Hospital. The entirety of the project has been implemented in two phases with an approximate cost of $6.6 million (captured in Umbrella Record ID#89911). Phase Two of the project included the donation of 3 medical vehicles which is detailed in Record ID#71340.
