Project narrative

In or around 2006, the Chinese Government committed to donating a total of 3,200 tons of maize to the Government of Seychelles. The Government of Seychelles would then sell the maize and use the proceeds to fund an unspecified project. The value of this maize donation is unknown. 300 tons were delivered to the Seychelles Marketing Board (SMB) on February 17, 2006, and another 114 containers were scheduled for delivery by May 2006.
