Leading up to the landmark October 2011 general elections, engineers serving in the Chinese contingent of the United Nations Mission in Liberia (UNMIL) conducted a 62-day long emergency road repair program in order to promote safer travel to the polls. The value of this project is unknown. All other implementation details are unclear.
