Project narrative

On December 26, 2019, the Confucius Institute of the University of Battambang was unveiled (See Record ID#89271). During the ceremony, co-sponsor school Guilin University of Electronic Technology donated 30 computers to the newly-established institution. The monetary value of this donation is unknown. Zuo Wenxing, Chargé d'affaires ad interim of the Chinese Embassy in Cambodia, Sok Sokha, State Secretary of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports of Cambodia, Usalun, Deputy State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Cambodia, Yuan Radana, Governor of Battambang Province, and Sen Entongtian, President of Battambang University, attended the ceremony and delivered speeches.
