Project narrative

On March 1, 2018, the second medical team from Sichuan No.2 Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine went to the Royal Divi Hospital in Muscat, Sultanate of Oman to continue to provide traditional Chinese medicine services. The team of 6 experts was led by Captain Chen Honglin and visited the Chinese Embassy in Oman on December 7, 2019. The 2nd medical completed their service and returned to China in September of 2021. On April 21, 2016, Sichuan Provincial Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine signed an MOU on medical cooperation with the Oman embassy in China (Captured in Record ID#91267). Under this agreement, China sent medical teams to Omen in the year of 2017 (captured in Record ID#91268), and 2018 (captured in Record ID#89705). Since 2017, the 1st and 2nd medical team has completed 48,900 services to patients.
