Project narrative

On October 25, 2019, the Chinese Embassy in Costa Rica donated 141 books (consisting of 102 different titles) to the Manuel María Peralta Diplomatic Institute to be incorporated into the bibliographic collection of the "León Fernández Bonilla" Library of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The donation of the books was delivered by the Chinese Ambassador and received by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Costa Rica. The books consisted of titles on the topics of culture, philosophy, politics, economy and society, traditional and modern literature, as well as Chinese companies. The materials will be available for loan to users from both the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the general public. The Manuel María Peralta Diplomatic Institute is a part of Costa Rica's Ministry of Foreign and Religious Affairs.
