On September 29, 2015, during a meeting between Chinese Ambassador to Venezuela, Zhao Bentang, and Oscar Schemel, Chairman of Hinterlaces, a Venezuelan think tank, Ambassador Zhao gifted Chairman Schemel Spanish versions of Chinese literature, including "The Chinese Dream and the World" and "Encyclopedia of Chinese Culture" to demonstrate a willingness to strengthen cooperation with Hinterlaces to promote the comprehensive development of bilateral relations.
