Project narrative

On September 6, 2019, the Chinese Embassy in Turkey and the Turkey-China Friendship Foundation donated 600 books and CDs to the Hasan Çapan Anatolian High School in Turkey. According to the Embassy, the donation was intended to encourage friendship between China and Turkey in the younger generations. The handover was attended by Chinese Ambassador to Turkey Deng Li, Member of the Turkish Grand National Assembly Ali Şahin, and other local politicians and dignitaries.

The Turkish name of the school is "Hasan Çapan Anadolu Lisesi". "Hasan Çapan" is the name of the school, and Anadolu Lisesi refers to the "Anatolian High School", or a class of selective Turkish public high schools.
