Project narrative

On March 26, 2020, a handover ceremony was held where Zhou Haicheng, Chinese Ambassador to Vanuatu, donated 100,000 USD to the Vanuatu Government on behalf of the Chinese Government. Ambassador Zhou Haicheng presented the check to Vanuatu’s caretaker Minister of Foreign Affairs International Cooperation and External Trade, Ralph Regenvanu. The money is a donation and there is no expectation of repayment. The donation goes towards prevention and control of the coronavirus.
