Project narrative

On July 9th 2020, Chinese Ambassador to New Zealand, Wu Xi, and Niue's High Commissioner to New Zealand, Iglist Pesigia, signed an agreement for the Certificate of Handover for Niue Anti-Epidemic Medical Assistance Project (援纽埃抗疫医疗援助项目交接证书). Huang Yuefeng, Economic and Commercial Counselor of the Chinese Embassy in New Zealand, and others attended the signing ceremony. As per the agreement China will provide medical supplies like medical protective masks, medical disposable protective clothing, infrared thermometers, medical isolation goggles, disposable sterilized rubber surgical gloves and medical isolation shoe covers.
