Project narrative

On June 22nd, 2017, the UCL Institute of Education and the Confucius Institute Headquarters (Hanban) opened the Model Confucius Institute, providing brand-new teacher training and research facilities and equipment in central London at 15 Woburn Square. The project was a bilateral cooperation project between Peking University and the High School Affiliated to Peking University and UCL. The project was funded by grant by Hanban, improving on the existing Confucius Institute at the UCL Institute of Education which was also funded by Hanban. The original institute project is tracked under ID#44315.
