Project narrative

On September 21st, 2016, the University of Manchester and the Confucius Institute Headquarters (Hanban) opened the Model Confucius Institute, providing brand-new office and learning spaces at 180 Waterloo Place. The project was funded by grant by Hanban, improving on the existing Confucius Institute at the University of Manchester which was also funded by Hanban. The original institute project is tracked under ID#44306. The project is the 4th Model Confucius Institute in the UK.
