Project narrative

From September 8, 2019 to October 1, 2019, the Fujian Institute of Oceanography in Xiamen (People's Republic of China) hosted a seminar on the promotion of the "blue economy" (Seminar on Promotion of Blue Economic Development via ICM for Ukraine). Representatives of the State Fisheries Agency, the State Water Agency, the Ministry of Energy, the Ministry of Economic Agriculture, the Ministry of Infrastructure, the Government Office of the Cabinet of Ministers and specialists of domestic research institutions took part in the training program. Those visiting learned about coastal management, the preservation and formation of river deltas, and dams. They were taught by Chinese researchers on these topics from not only the Fujian Institute of Oceanography but also the Qingdao Institute of Marine Geology.
